Beekeeping is an exciting, educational, fun and enthralling - it is easy to catch the “buzz”!
Learn about the basic equipment, tools, costs, legal issues, what to expect when harvesting your honey, resources and references.This class is the basis for our series. To become a beekeeper you need to know what you are getting into, while beekeeping is enjoyable it is also very complex and many folks jump in without regard to some of the realities involved. This class is a MUST for people considering beekeeping.
Classes are held at Schooner Farms near Weston, Oh. Class must have a minimum of 6 students. Reminders will be sent out along with directions to Schooner Farms. Payment for each class is due at time of reservation.
