ABOUT ABOUT

With the bright sunny days and lack of incessant rain the Lavender is ready to pick.  We anticipate many lavender lovers will want to come out and enjoy picking. In order to keep things manageable and parking easy for everyone, we will have reserved tickets available.

YOU MUST RESERVE 1 TICKET PER CARLOAD TO ENTER. There is no charge for the ticket - it is FREE. We're trying to control the parking situation and this is the easiest way to do that. Your ticket MUST be used on the designated day. It may not be used on any other day. Your ticket will need to be presented so please print off a copy or show the emailed ticket information on your phone to present your ticket. Once you have been checked in, you are welcome to stay as long as you would like during the designated hours. Once your ticket is checked it is no longer usable. The event is held rain or shine.

Here’s the Scoop:

Lavender is $10 per bunch. You are welcome to purchase as many bunches as you would like. We will supply you with a premeasured tie and you can expect to fit 20-30 stems within the tie. Parking is very easy and is on gravel. We have several very clean and well cared for porta potties available. Please bring your own clippers, we do have a few to loan but in case ours are in use it might be best to bring a pair along. We will show you a brief video on how to cut the lavender stems and will be available in case you need help. Picking will be out on the Serpent Mound. The variety is called Phenomenal. It has nice long stems and is perfect for bunching or making wands.

Precautions:

Bees and insects love lavender. Please, if you have any issues with bee stings, take the proper precautions. Bees really don’t want to sting you and most won’t but to be safe please be prepared to take necessary steps to ensure your safety.

Best to bring some water, sunscreen and a hat.

We love people to stroll about the farm and enjoy the ponds and grounds. Please, don’t hop in for a swim.

Children must be supervised at all times.
